It's Wednesday!...and tonight you have the opportunity and privilege to participate in worship and bible study at Studio 412. May we never take for granted that we have the freedom to come together and praise our Lord whenever we want. Many around the world do not have this and it costs them their freedom or even their life if they choose to worship and study God's Word.
So, have a great time with friends and give praise to our Lord like it's your last time. Oh, and take some time tonight to deliberately talk to students that you don't know or don't know very well. Make them a priority and say something to encourage them. It's living out the Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12).
Today's devotion and scripture passage was short, yet very powerful. Think about it, God 's chosen method to reach the lost is by our sharing. WOW!...He could share Himself in so many ways, yet, He desires to use us in a very, very important way that determines people knowing about eternity with God.
I know that it doesn't seem easy to talk about "spiritual things" with your friends or people that you don't know. Nevertheless, someone shared it with you, with each of us who know Jesus as Savior and Lord. Let's be BOLD and share the goodness of Jesus!
Acts 28:31 (New International Version)
31Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.
TODAY'S SONIC CHALLENGE WINNER IS:
RAVEN RILEY
(She's the one on the right. The other two girls are also going to Scotland)
Congratulations and thanks to all of you who shared your favorite "trust" Bible verse with me yesterday.
Bro. Phillip shared with the congregation about these verses we read today on many occasions. When speaking about verse 19, he said "Go therefore" means "as you are going." COOL -- that means that we're to do this as part of our daily lives, same as eating and sleeping. How's that going?...eating, sleeping and sharing? Make this your prayer today that God will give you an opportunity to share your faith with someone this week!
-- SONIC QUESTION OF THE DAY --
Share with me your most recent time that you shared your testimony or spoke with someone about Jesus.
As you are going...

Hello!
I have a friend who has been going through lots of physical set backs this past year & is still currently suffering medical issues, as well as marital problems. I try to encourage her spiritually everytime we meet since she is kind of down nost of the time because of her circumstances. I have said to her, humans (and our bodies for that matter!) will let us down every time. But God won't fail us or forsake us (Heb 13:5) He won't let us down. God is the only one we can depend on each & every day. He won't make all the bad stuff go away, but He can make it to where we can bear the bad stuff! He doesn't send us on our way & give us good wishes. No, He is right there along side us giving us strength, endurance & encouragement. I've told my friend that scripture is where I get most of my strength & encouragement. And no wonder- because John 1:1 tells us, "...the Word was with God & the Word WAS God."

I was talking to one of my friends in Seminar on Tuesday, and she asked me what colleges I was considering. I told her the three I was considering are all Baptist colleges. She started saying how she wouldn't be able to stand going to a Christian school and asked me why I would want to go. It was so awesome, because I got to tell her why I wanted to be surrounded by a positive Christian environment, and I share my faith in the Lord with her!

Well I just shared a few months ago.. I have shared or attempted to share with the same person for the past few years.... and she seems to be watming up to the idea that there is someone who truly cares about her... She's is trying to get over the fact that GOD is a big GOD.. and there is no one or nothing like him.... every year I approach her and ask her if she's been visiting any churches... And she says that she will go every now and then with a friend... I have invited her many times to our church family.. But her parents don't approve of her going... Now that she's driving and is able to take herself places... I'm sure that this year will be a little bit different .... My goal is for her to offer her life to christ by our senior year... NEXT YEAR.. it can definately happen... In Gods Name....
Walking with HIM hourly

The last person I shared Christ with was a girl named Marissa. She is a different religion but we were close. She was very opend minded so that made it pretty easy for me.
Hey Daddy,
The Hamster
It will always be amazing to me how God takes such little people, little chances, little possibilities, and makes a humongous everlasting change out of the small things of humankind! Praise the Lord, for He has done great things!!!!!
Today I was able to share with a couple of believers the importance of recognizing our sin, asking for forgiveness and surrounding ourselves with christian encouragement so that we may one day be compatible with heaven. After lunch was over they wanted to ask me more questions and I gave one girl my number to text me. This moment was one of the hundreds of divine appointments planned out for me by God today. All I had to do was have an open heart, an open mind, and the holy spirit guiding me every step of His way. I pray that I will commit to soaking myself w/ His love, peace, and word of life that I may be compatible w/ heaven!
Rejoice in our Lord ALWAYS!!
Carlyn Marie!
one of my teachers at school told our class that the Bible contradicts itself, so i raised my hand and told him it did not. later we got to talking and i got to tell him what i believed about the bible. it was for sure a time that i was truly bold about my faith and didn't beat around the bush. keep him in your prayers !! and pray that i will get another opportunity to speak with him about it !

I am so encouraged after reading the posts above! Wow! To think of the way you guys (girls!) have stepped out of the box of "wondering what people will think of you" and shared your faith with others - that makes my heart sing! It is hard to be bold in Christ - especially during your youth! But I want to encourage you all to keep on! I know you think I am "old as dirt" but it was not so long ago that I was walking the halls of a High School. I had two very close friends that were also Christians. I had a lot of friends - but Libby and Dana were like my kindred spirits and all throughout High School we were seen as the "Holy Rollers"! We were in band and cheerleading and dance team and Student Council - we were very involved and had a very visible presence within the High School environment - but we chose not to participate in parties and "hang out" on the weekends with the people who were living that lifestyle. Thus, the term, "Holy Roller" came to be. I can remember soooo many discussions with people about my faith - some, not so pleasant, and a bit heartbreaking, but the Lord is good! Years later I have been reunited with many High School friends particularly through facebook and it is amazing to me how many people have taken time to thank me for standing firm in my faith throughout High School and beyond! Wow! People really do notice the things you do and the things you say! Remember to walk your talk! If you say you believe in Christ and what He promises, then walk every day in those promises! Sometimes your actions speak louder than your words! "Lord, may I live each day as a pleasing sacrifice to you!" Keep on keeping on!
Yeah, wow 412 Praise y'all really "got it going on." I remember like you Jenny on the drill team and being the only one that had to hurry and take off my uniform and get into my jeans and t-shirt because my daddy would be waiting for me to get into that ole green GMC. My friends would always ask me why I did not come with them, and I would feel sad that I had to go straight home....my new name was everything but what my father named me. I was bought up a certain way so going off to college was weird for me because all I knew was the "Jesus" talk, which back in my day was not cool at all if you did the "Jesus" talk it was in a group with other like minds and then dissapeared. I have to do an AMEN to what Jenny said earlier about the BOLDNESS of all of you steppin up and out for the cause of Christ is "HUGE" and the reward is that others would have the same opportunity to know HIM as we do. Keep sharing, keep stepping outside of the box, and continue loving the "Jesus" way. I am so proud of each and everyone of you... the best is yet to come!!!!!
