HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANNAH!
WOW -- I can't believe that I have a 15 year old!
-- DAY 6 --
Another wonderful day in Scotland! We started out early again this morning, arriving at our 2nd school at 8:30 am. We spent the next hour greetings folks at the school, preparing for our morning concert, and working out all the final plans with our afternoon workshops. Set up time is getting quicker each day! Everyone pitches in and gets all of the equipment inside and then knows what they have to do to get us ready.
A special thanks to Dave Roberts, Chad Plummer and Tim Sorey for making every concert go smoothly. Robert has been doing a great job taking pictures throughout the day and Dave and Jerry have been getting great footage for our daily videos.
A special thanks to all of the adults who gave of their time, talents and treasures to be a part of this exciting mission trip. All of our adults have been working hard to encourage and uplift our students at the same time taking care of our student's needs. These needs have included: sore throats, coughs, wake-up calls, laundry 2x, hugs, prayers, getting our students from point A to B to C, and much, much more! These are the unsung heroes to which this trip so far could not have so successful! We all thank you!!!
Once we were ready -- we sang our first concert of the day. The students were once again enthralled with our teenagers. They enjoyed their singing, sharing, and especially our "STOMP" song.
Here's Whitney giving us some extra "umphf" to one of the songs!
After our concert, we worked with our children's choir who sang with us this tonight. They were very excited about the opportunity to sing with us during the concert. They were not as prepared as the choir yesterday, but quickly learned their part in the song. (During the concert tonight, they were great!)
Once our rehearsal was over, we ate a wonderful lunch provided by the school. WOW -- both our schools have been so supportive of us. They have been gracious hosts and both provided us with a coffee/tea/scone/breakfast bread reception in the morning and a delicious lunch in the teacher's lounge. (In fact, many of the teachers came back each evening and brought others with them to our concert!)
After lunch our students spent the afternoon doing workshops with each class for two primary schools. Our teenagers have really loved the time with the children. They have done a great job sharing about themselves, answering questions from the students and teaching and playing games with each class. The teachers really appreciated all the care, concern and love that our teenagers showed to their children!
By 3:00 pm, they had a well-deserved break. We made it back to the hotel by 3:30 pm and had an hour to have a quick cat-nap and get ready for dinner and the evening concert. Two churches hosted our evening meals. One church had members host 1/2 of our students in their homes and the other church hosted us at the church. You'll never guess what we had at the church tonight -- FISH AND CHIPS!....It was delicious!
Another incredible worship experience tonight. The children and adults filled the auditorium and were gracious in their reception of us. Our students, once again, gave their ALL in praise and worship to our Lord.
They sang passionately and showed their love of our Lord in Word and Song. Natalie Gautier gave her testimony tonight and did a great job. Last night Carly Sorey and Jacob Stewart shared and presented the Gospel so courageously and confidently.
One of the Pastor's tonight told us that the concerts have been incredible. The amount of folks that have come to see us have been more in our two days than a week for their last group two year's ago. Praise the Lord, He is good! Our advance preparation with posters, flyers, and the opportunity to have their children sing with us paid off!
We appreciate your prayers and encouraging words on the blog. Our students are enjoying hearing them as we make our way to the schools in the morning.

The videos and pictures make me cry because all of you sweet youth encourage me so much in my faith. I grew up in church but I wish I would have been as mature in my faith as so many of you are at your age. God is going to do amazing things with you. I pray you always love Jesus as much as you do right now and that you will continue to follow Him because you can make such a difference! I would love to be doing what you are doing right now! Thanks for representing our church and our Jesus in such a great way!!! Praying for ya'll!!!

Hi, Kids, What a great video. It has been my pleasure to view you in action. Certainly your fellow Scottish friends can see Jesus in you by your words and actions. Praises for all of you and especially Lauren A. Just between you and me, I really love her; I'm her Grammy T. from Nebraska! Keep letting His light shine through you.
Hi Gang
We have so enjoyed checking the blog each day and seeing what God is doing in Scotland! The light of Jesus is brightly shining through you!
Special hello and hugs to Natalie Gautier, Hannah Johnson, Mary Kate Mangrum and Lauren Anderson from Ali and Erica.
We look forward to the testimonies that we will hear when you return.
Dave, Cheryl, Ali, and Erica Chapman :)))))
Looking fantastic guys. Sorry I wasn't there at Garscadden tonight.
You've all been such an encouragement to me this week, I can only hope you all take as much from this trip.
I have been praying for all you and the work that you have been given! I am so sorry Cara is so sick! Thank you for loving her! Love in His Grip! Christy
I am so very excited this evening. Not only have I figured out how to view the videos, I also spoke to my son tonight. God is so good!!! To Dave, Chad and Tim: Thank you so much for being servants so that God is glorified in all that is said and done over there. You've taken time out of your lives and sacrificed countless hours to bring the good news to Scotland and I am so very appreciative of everything you've been doing. What a witness to our young people to see families willing to serve in order to take the gospel to the mission fields. This trip will surely be as life changing for Scotland as it is for each and every youth on the trip. And I can't forget the SME'S... Thank you for taking care of our little ones especially for those of us who are a little more over protective than the other moms over here in Bentonville, AR. Ken, it's hard to say thank you enough but I want you to know how glad I am that Matthew is a part of a choir whose worship leader is on fire for God! Thank you for the reassurance that Matthew would be okay when I was a little anxious about the whose trip.
Matthew: Thank you for calling me tonight. I was happy to hear your voice. Keep trying new foods and try not to spend all of my money!!
Love ya, Mom

We look forward to the videos and updates each day. It is so obvious that God went before you and prepared the hearts of the Scottish people to receive you and the Gospel message. As you are nearing the completion of this trip, we wanted to remind you of God's words in Hebrews 12:1-3. "Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off anything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and protector of our faith... Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow WEARY and lose heart." We urge you to finish strong the race or mission before you. Also, 2 Cor 6:1-10 tells us not to let things like sleepless nights and hunger affect your ministry. Although, we know hunger should not be an issue because we have seen all the delicious looking food prepared for you.
Keep up the good work! Our prayers are with you.
Tim, Lesa and Rob Johnson
PS: Hannah and John Perry, we love you and miss you.
Happy Birthday Hannah! How does it feel to be 15? I can't believe how old you are (that means I must really be old!) Anyway, I am saying a special prayer for you.
"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace."
Numbers 6:24-26
I love you girl.

Oh the passion that just beams from each and every one of your faces! It just radiates! It is awesome to see all of you serving the Lord and serving others in many ways! God is so good! Remember all of us in Bentonville are thinking about ya'll and especially praying for you all continuously!
Good Afternoon!
I just wanted to send you a little note and let you know that there are people everywhere watching your videos and looking at your pictures and they truly can see your love for Jesus! So please dont lose sight of who you are really there for! Stay bonded in Christ and love one another as Jesus said to! We all miss and love each and everyone of you! Dave, Chad, Tim and Robert thank you for doing the Lords work of videos, pictures and the setting up and tearing down. I tell people all of the time what an amazing TEAM I get to work with and I truly mean that!If it were not for you others could not witness what our amazing teenagers are doing in another country for the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I know for a fact that some of these people that are watching are not Christians so you all are sharing the love of Jesus here at home and around the world all at the same time!! How amazing is that?! Stay positive and stay strong you have a few days left. Brother Ken, Stephanie and all of the other adults, we love each of you as well and pray daily for wisdom, strength and encouragement for you! You are such incredible adults to show our teenagers love and compassion while they share the love of Jesus with others! What a comfort it is to know that not only my child but others are learning Christ-like examples from some of the finest people on this earth! I LOVE YOU GUYS AND MISS YOU LOTS!! Lauren Reshell Anderson I miss you and love you more than you could possibly ever know. I am so proud and honored that you are my daughter. It is amazing to see you get to have this experienceand for you to show and tell others of Jesus' love. I dont deserve such a sweet Blessing as you but God thinks I do so I do thank Him for you everyday!!! Love you Sweet Pea!
Blessings,
Tammy Anderson
